ABOUT ME
Writer, Editor, Director
If you lived in Perris, California in the early 2000s, you would have seen the Sanchez kids running around with a video camera. Isabella loved playing director and dreamed of one day making a movie fun enough to become a ride at Universal Studios. The road to infamy is long, however, and starts with humble beginnings, like hosting the middle school news.
In high school, Isabella stuck to her roots, recruiting her entire extended family to star in a myriad of zany short films. The Brady Bunch act proved successful, and Isabella won Best Director and Best Horror Short in film analysis class. Shortly after, Isabella established a Film Club and Variety Show.
Isabella's short film,"Magic" landed her in their dream spot at USC’s School of Cinematic Arts, where they learned under seasoned professionals, broadened their editing skill set (AVID, ProTools, After Effects), and collaborated with talented individuals. They joined the professional cinematic arts fraternity, Delta Kappa Alpha, DJ’d for the school’s radio station, KXSC, and established themselves as the video director for the station’s weekly live sessions.
Isabella spent their summers gaining professional experience as an assistant to Pantheon Entertainment’s CEO and as a development intern at Ghost House Pictures. Recognized for their editing, Isabella was approached to edit one of the School of Cinematic Arts’ four senior thesis projects, as well as direct and edit a music video for a local artist.
A true student of the arts, Isabella continues to edit, write, and direct.
Isabella currently resides in Los Angeles.
